27th May 2009 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 25-35 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 15ºC Sea Temperature: 12ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: After a MTB session at Brechfa in the afternoon, it looked as though the wind was easing off, but at around 5pm it picked up again so I headed off to the beach with my 5m sail and big wave board. The sun was shining and the wind was picking up the whole time so I was soon on the water and having a great time. Well powered up in what turned out to be the windiest part of the day. A little gusty with maximum gusts of around 35 knots (according to the we ather station), but never underpowered. Some nice wave rides and the odd jump but generally just blasting about well powered in the sunshine. |
